Why cloud evolution needs a cohesive approach to succeed

Many organizations in India are migrating to the cloud and there is no dearth of cloud service providers. But if you want the cloud to revolutionize your business, it won’t help to get stuck with a basic cloud configuration that works by default but doesn’t keep pace with your development goals.

Big banks have tens of thousands of loan clients. Managing these accounts is an operational burden as it involves constant monitoring of monthly installments, account maintenance and timely collection, especially when clients default on payments.

Cloud doesn’t handle this by default

Before Mobicule started working with NTT DATA, they had already obtained cloud services from a large hyperscaler and were doing cloud development.

However, they lacked a sense of ownership of their cloud environment and had to fit square pegs into round holes as demand for their services grew. They needed a provider that could tailor the solution to their needs, with an emphasis on cost efficiency as they deliver their Software as a Service (SaaS) offering in a hyper-competitive market.

In financial services, security and compliance are just as important as reliability and responsiveness. Mobicule needed help with a security information and event management (SIEM) approach: combining security information management (collecting, analyzing and reporting log data generated from across their technology infrastructure) and security event management (monitoring, correlating and analyzing security events generated by hardware and software, in real time).

This level of reliability and security had to be scalable across multiple clients, each of whom needed assurance that, despite being part of a multi-tenant environment, their data and infrastructure would remain private and secure.
