iPhone users can clean their screen using this trick
Too many apps on your home screen can make it cluttered, but with these tricks you can free up some space.
For many iPhone users, hiding apps has become essential to declutter your home screen or protect sensitive apps from prying eyes. Fortunately, Apple offers several simple methods to hide apps without uninstalling them completely.
Follow the steps below to hide an app on your iPhone’s home screen.
– Find the app you want to hide on your device’s home screen.
– Long press the desired application.
– A box will appear on the screen showing the “Remove application” option.
– You will be given the option to choose between completely uninstalling the app or simply removing it from the home screen. Select “Remove from home screen” to hide the app without uninstalling it.
Here’s a method to hide multiple apps at once from your iPhone’s home screen:
– Long press any free space on the home screen of your device.
– Your home screen will enter “shake mode”, which is indicated by app icons starting to move, meaning they can be changed.
– Find the minus icon next to each app you want to hide, then follow the same process as for hiding a single app.
If you hide the app instead of uninstalling it, it means that you still want to access the app again. Although it may not be easily visible on your home screen, rediscovering a hidden app is not a challenging task. Follow the given steps to discover the desired application.
– Swipe left until you reach the end of the home screen and the app library will open.
– Select the search bar at the top of the screen, then scroll down the alphabetical list or search for the app you want.
And if this isn’t enough, here’s a step-by-step method to hide apps inside a folder on your iPhone:
– To start, press and hold one of the apps you want to hide.
– Step 2: Next, drag the app you want to hide on top of the other app, then release it when it overlaps with the other app. This will generate a new folder, which your iPhone will automatically name based on the apps in it, but you can customize the name to your liking.
– Step 3: After placing all the apps in a folder, you can move them to hide them on another page. To do this, drag each app towards the right side of the folder until it moves to another page. Repeat this process for any other apps you want to keep hidden.
Namely, you can give your folder a discreet name if you want. Just note that all apps visible on the first page of the folder will still be visible from the home screen, albeit in a smaller size.
