CHARACTERISTICS

1. Users can set the subscription period of the SAAS plan in days, weeks, months and years.
2. The administrator can also set the SAAS plan to never expire.
3. The Odoo Saas Subscription module works in cooperation with Stripe and PayPal.
4. You can also specify the type of SAAS subscription product from the Odoo backend.
5. The subscription ends when the SAAS contract expires. Renewing your subscription also renews your SAAS contract.
6. Enable subscription services in your Odoo SaaS agreement.
7. Customers can subscribe to different products/services as part of your SAAS plan.
8. Enable customers to choose subscription plans and place orders.
9. Subscription plan details are available in their user profile.

ASSEMBLY

1. After you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Unzip the file on your system after downloading before proceeding.
3. You will be able to see a folder called saas_kit_subscription.
4. Copy and paste this folder inside the Odoo plugins path.
5. Now open the Odoo application and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
6. Then open the Applications menu and click Update module list.
7. In the search bar, remove all filters and search for saas_kit_subscription.
8. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click Install to install it.

WORKFLOW

Configure your subscription plan -:

1. After installing the Odoo SaaS kit subscription, go to the Sales tab.

2. Open the subscription plan under the configuration tab. Create a new subscription plan.

3. Fill in the details, name, duration, number of billing cycles and other details.

4. Configure the duration, i.e. in days, weeks, months and years.

5. Enable the Never Expire button if you want the subscription plan to never expire. After configuring the fields, save the subscription plan.

Create a Saas plan

6. Now go to SaaS plan and create a new SAAS plan.

7. Configure or set all required fields and save the SaaS plan.

Configure the Saas plan product

8. Now open the Products tab and create a new product.

9. Set the product type to service and select the SAAS plan product link under the SAAS plan tab.

10. To configure the subscription plan in the Saas plan product Enable “Is subscription type” in the product and set the subscription plan.

11. Go to the website. Now a subscription will be generated when purchasing a SAAS plan product from the website. The duration of the SaaS contract depends on the duration of the subscription plan. i.e. as configured in the SaaS plan product.

NOTE: When the SAAS contract expires, the subscription will also expire. Renewing the subscription also renews the SAAS contract.
