How to hide an app on iPhone
First, we’ll cover how to make an app disappear from your home screen:
- Go to screen with the app you want to hide i long press the app
- Tap Rremove the app
- Touch Remove from home screen
The app is now hidden from your home screen, but remains accessible through the search function and in your app library. To access the app library on your iPhone:
- Go for your own Home screen.
- Steal left next to all the pages on your home screen.
- You will see Application library as the final screen, which organizes your apps into categories.

How to hide a whole page of applications
If you want to hide the entire apps page, here’s how:
- Long press on empty area home screen
- Touch dots at the bottom of the home screen
- Touch Tick below the page you want to remove.
- Then tap Done
Your selected app page is now out of sight, creating a cleaner and more organized home screen.
How to hide an app from search on iPhone
Hiding an app on your iPhone prevents it from showing on the home screen, but it will still be visible through search. If you want to avoid this, you can hide the app from search on your iPhone:
- Open settings
- Touch Siri & Search
- Scroll down to find application you want to hide and touch it.
- Click Siri & Search again
- Touch Show app in search
- When the switch is it looks greyit means the app is hidden from search.

Restore an app or app page
Change your mind? No problem. Here’s how to restore your hidden apps:
How to restore an application
- Find it application in the application library
- Long press on application and pull it back to the home screen.
How to restore the applications page
- Long press an empty area on your home screen
- Touch dots at the bottom of the home screen
- Then select the previously hidden page by tapping empty bubble.
- Finish with a touch Done
