If you’re trying to figure out how to get a refund for iTunes or App Store purchases, you may be suffering from iPhone app buyer’s remorse. Either you bought it by accident, discovered that the content wasn’t suitable or good enough, or discovered that someone was using your account without permission.
Regardless of your reason for not wanting to make a digital purchase, it’s good to know that you can, if you want, request a refund for your money. However, whether you get it or not is another matter.
To prevent abuse of iTunes and the App Store, Apple will evaluate the request, taking into account your reason and time of purchase — you’re more likely to get a refund if you’ve just bought something. The response may take up to 48 hours, so you may need to be patient.
But what if you can’t find the purchase listed on the site? In that case, it’s worth double-checking that you’re accessing the correct Apple ID account and also checking that the purchase wasn’t made inside another app. If it is, then you would have to contact the app developer for a refund.
Let’s find out how to get a refund for iTunes or App Store purchases.
