Apple’s iMessage platform is one of the most widely used messaging apps on the iPhone, and the company introduces new features almost every year. The iMessage app on the iPhone seems to contain a feature that has remained hidden from most users. It basically allows users to layer emojis on top of each other to create a sticker that they can share with their friends and family. If you are not familiar, check how the hidden feature works on your iPhone with iOS 17.
iMessage on iOS has a pretty neat hidden feature that compiles emojis into a sticker
The recently discovered feature is quite similar to the kitchen emoji on Android, but much simpler. However, there are also key differences. For example, Android’s kitchen emoji utility creates an entirely new emoji, while on iPhone the iMessage app simply overlays one emoji on top of another to create a sticker. However, the fact that the feature has remained hidden in the iOS iMessage app is astonishing.
If you want to try it yourself, you have to use Apple’s iMessage app because it doesn’t work with standard text messages. The first thing you have to do is send an emoticon to your family member or friend. Now all you have to do is open the keyboard, select another emoticon and drag it over the emoticon you sent to the recipient earlier. You can repeat the process with more emojis to create a sticker.

The discovery was made by a user on Reddit (via UK Sun), and it seems that not many people know about it. The best part about this feature is that it is very easy to operate and users only need to drag and drop their favorite emojis on each other. You also have the option to zoom in on the sticker using your second finger. Simply hold the emoji and drag your other finger outward. If you rotate your finger, the emoji will also rotate with you.

The process is quite simple and does not require any third-party application. Note that you must first send an emoji to the recipient before you can drag and drop additional emojis onto the first one. Let us know your experience in the comments below.
