Accessing ChatGPT on your Android smartphone just got a whole lot easier thanks to a new widget. Currently available on ChatGPT version 1.2024.052, users can now add a widget to their smartphone’s home screen to quickly access the AI chatbot with just one tap.
The new ChatGPT widget currently offers five ways to communicate with the AI bot. The user can enter his query inside the widget or upload or take a photo from the camera. They can also use the voice search option from the same. Note that the ability to search on ChatGPT using a photo or camera is limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, which currently costs Rs 1,950 per month.
Just a few weeks ago, the beta version of the ChatGPT Android app allowed users to add shortcuts to the quick settings menu. Using this feature, Nothing has developed a new feature that allows users to add a ChatGPT widget to the home screen of Nothing phones. With the latest update, any Android smartphone user can now access ChatGPT without actually opening the app.
