Current verification process
Currently enabling “Biometric Verification” in the Play Store involves navigating to the Play Store settings, selecting Purchase Verification, and turning on the Biometric Verification option. This requires the user to enter their Google Account password. However, Google’s upcoming update promises to make this process even simpler.
Soon, Android users will be able to use their fingerprint or facial recognition to verify their purchase verification preference. This change is a clear indication of Google’s commitment to integrating advanced biometric technology into its ecosystem, increasing both security and convenience for users.

To make this easier, the Play Store will offer three check frequency options: Always, Every 30 minutes, or Never.
