While Google tries to protect its users from downloading its apps from the Play Store, some malicious apps are sneaking in. It is important to delete these free Android apps that you may have installed knowing they are safe.
Google has already removed these apps from the Play Store and you should also uninstall them if they are already on your smartphone.
These are the apps you should delete:
- Start VPN
- Yellow Flash VPN
- CaptainDroid Apps – Android 12 Launcher, Android 13 Launcher and Android 14 Launcher, CpatainDroid Feeds, Free Old Classic Movies and Phone Comparison.
- Simple VPN
- Blaze Stride
- Keyboard with animations
- Byte Blade VPN
- Fast Fox VPN
- VPN around
- Turbo Tunnel VPN
- Turbo Track VPN
- Phone application launcher
- Fast Fly VPN
- Fast Line VPN
- Quick Flow VPN
- Swift Shield VPN
- An example of a VPN
- Fast surfing
- Secure the Thunder
- Safety shine
Most of these apps are free VPN apps.
The apps mentioned above diverted traffic through devices with downloaded apps to engage in ad fraud, credential spoofing, and password hashing.
We strongly advise you to opt for paid VPN apps like ProtonVPN which I highly recommend. It also has a free tier if you really want to use the app without paying.
