The popular but often overlooked streaming app earns rave reviews and doesn’t cost a penny.

If you’re tired of shelling out endless money for streaming services every month, Amazon Freevee could save you a few bucks.
The iPhone app is completely free to download and is packed with royalty-free content.
To make this possible, you’ll need to track ads – but that’s a small price to pay for avoiding huge monthly bills.
Amazon says you’ll be able to enjoy “thousands of hit series and movies.”
And Freevee offers more than 400 live TV channels in a wide range of genres.
The app began life as IMDb Freedive in January 2019, before being renamed IMDb TV later that year.
Amazon owned IMDb at the time, and eventually rebranded the app as Freevee in April 2022.
The app has plenty of licensed content, but also features original shows and movies from Amazon Studios.
You can set up a watch list and search for movies or TV shows by title, genre, and cast members.
Amazon notes that you don’t need a credit card to sign up and that there are “no subscription fees.”
Simply sign in with your Amazon account and you can start watching right away, although you will still be served ads.

The free download is rated 4.7/5 on the Apple App Store for iOS on iPhone, based on more than 9,000 ratings.
One happy streamer gave it five stars and wrote: “Better than most free streamers.
“A good selection of content, especially if you want to catch up on hit series from the past or get a taste of current Prime series.
“I’ve been using this app for a few years and the ads have improved in terms of variety and quality – not like someone beating you over the head with the same three ads.”
Another five-star reviewer said, “Freevee offers a variety of free movies and series that you won’t find anywhere else.
“It also allows me to stream throughout the night without having to ask it to resume after a few episodes (something that drives me up the wall with some competitors).”
